What is the Application Process?

When application forms are returned, we will check that applicants have met our basic pre-requisites and short-list accordingly.

Telephone Interview
If successful, you will then have a telephone interview, for which you will be required to prepare.

We will give you plenty of notice of when we would like you to have the interview and if the date and time isn’t convenient, we will do our best to re-arrange.  It would be a good idea to have printed off your application prior to your interview and to have done some research on PROjEN.

Make sure you are in a quiet place where you won’t be disturbed.  We’ll call you (saving your phone bill).  Please provide us with the best number to contact you on.  It is better to use a landline as mobile phone signals do have a tendency to fail.

Face to Face Interview
Following on from the telephone interview, if successful, you will be invited to the first of two face to face interviews.

Make sure you re-read your application, and have revisited the PROjEN website.  We don’t expect you to be an expert on our company, but we are looking for people that are proactive and well organised – so knowing a little about what we are currently doing will stand you in good stead.

The interviews will not only cover technical ability, but will also provide us time to assess behaviours that we think are important, so come mentally prepared with real life examples of things that you have done – at university, in work and in your social and family life.  You will have provided a couple of examples in the “Personal Abilities” section of the application form, but we already know about those, so think of some more.

The interviews are not only a time for us to assess you, but also provides you opportunity to assess us, so come prepared with questions.
