I joined PROjEN in 2002 straight after leaving college where I had just completed a GNVQ in ITC. I always knew I wanted to work within an office environment & completed my GNVQ to get some background knowledge of computers to help me along.
I started my life at PROjEN as an office junior working within the support services department & completing tasks ranging from answering the phone to typing out letters & memos.
While working within the support services office I was offered a chance to complete an NVQ in administration, PROjEN led me through by giving me different roles within the office to match the criteria I needed to complete in order to pass.
I now work in the accounts department and PROjEN have both funded and supported my studies towards an AAT in accounts.
PROjEN are a great company to work for. The staff are polite, friendly & extremely helpful. PROjEN are very accommodating to your needs, both personally and professionally, since having my son, PROjEN have reduced my hours to fit around childcare and provided the necessary training and development to help me progress within my roles.
There is a good social environment at PROjEN, there is a relaxed environment within the office but with a “get the job done” approach; there is also a good range of social events hosted throughout the year.
PROjEN also do a lot for local charities by hosting events, sponsoring individuals for there own personal events & making one off donations to help out.
I never thought I would be working in an account office but I enjoy my role & love working for the company.
