Energy, Environmental and Compliance Engineers Opportunities

As an Energy, Environmental and Compliance professional you will be exposed to many commercial and industrial clients who have varying requirements for support and guidance with energy, environmental and legislative compliance. Our clients are often struggling to balance the diverse demands of the various pieces of legislation on one hand, and the highly focused agenda of cost, climate change impact and corporate responsibility on the other. Your role would include the requirement to understand fully our clients’ business drivers and provide targeted support and guidance to help our clients to understand where their ‘real’ priorities lie. This could be followed by the preparation and implementation of workable and affordable strategies for the required activities.

Depending on your skills and experience, you could find yourself undertaking energy reviews, site energy balances or a range of activities associated with legislative compliance such as :-

• DSEAR - The Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations 2002
• ATEX Workplace Directive - Directive 99/92/EC (ATEX 137)
• Phase Out of Ozone Depleting Substances – EU Regulation 2037/2000
• Fluorinated Greenhouse Gases Regulations – EU Regulation 842/2006
• Functional safety of electrical/electronic/prog. electronic safety-related systems – IEC 61508

There will also be the need to support the business with energy, environmental and legislative compliance advice for capital projects and schemes. With our diverse client portfolio and the impact that energy, environmental and compliance processes have in today’s world, this is an ever changing service for PROjEN to offer, and requires adaptable flexible people to provide successful customer solutions.

Part of your role may require you to travel. You will provide support to Project Managers not only from PROjEN's Offices in Preston Brook but at their clients sites located across the UK.
